Mindy Montecucco
Dental Hygienist
Mindy has been a proud member of Dr. Price's team since 1995. She received a bachelor of science degree in dental hygiene from OHSU School of Dentistry in 1985. Prior to that she spent her freshman and sophomore years at OSU (Go Beavs!). Since then she has practiced in the Portland area as well as the beautiful island of Maui. She has stayed active in the dental community as a nine year member of the OHSU School of Dentistry Alumni Board and as an enthusiastic attendee of annual state and occasional national dental conventions. She enjoys working closely with her patients and fellow team members. "Periodontal care, cavity prevention and aesthetic dentistry have come so far in the time I have practiced hygiene. People are coming to understand the value of oral health and aesthetics as a part of their overall health and well being. I am excited to be a part of that by providing along with Dr. Price and our staff the best in current and knowledgeable comprehensive care." Outside of the office you are most likely to find me on my road bike or on the dance floor.
Abigail Philips
Dental Hygienist
Abi has been a Dental Hygienist in the Portland metro area for many years, and has worked primarily in general family dentistry. "It is an exceptional and fulfilling experience to work with a dental team that holds such a high level of expertise, integrity, and community connection." Abi lives in the neighborhood with her husband, and has three adult children. In her free time she loves to garden, read, and enjoys the outdoors. You'll see her on a run, walk, or bike ride in the terrific local neighborhoods. Whenever possible Abi and her husband go traveling to new and far off places, or just stay here in Portland to enjoy "our wonderful family, good friends, good music, and really great food!"
Kim Laakso
Front office/Treatment Coordinator
Kim joined Dr. Price practice in 2009 and brought over 15 years of experience as a dental assistant, and an office coordinator. In addition she enjoys spending time with her husband and two daughters. She volunteers with her daughter's school and well as Hytyme Equine Rescue.
Elise Heil
Elise has been a part of the dental world for six years. She finds dentistry to be interesting and progressive. "There are always new products, and techniques that we are updated and educated on. I love learning new things, and when I am not learning new things pertaining to dental." She enjoys travel and learning about the customs of other cultures. Her favorite activities include: rock climbing, snowboarding, ultimate frisbee, and running. "If I am being active in the outdoors then I am satisfied." She has been with Dr. Price and her staff a little over a year now, and couldn't be happier. "The entire staff was so welcoming that I instantly felt comfortable and part of the team. Dr. Price is an incredibly skilled dentist. Her work is precise and completed to perfection. For myself, I wouldn't want any other person working inside my mouth."
